Organic chestnut honey

The particularity of chestnut honey lies in its sweet flavor with salty notes and frequently bitter notes if it is accompanied by heather; acid notes if accompanied by brambles; in its floral aroma, with a clear and crisp woody component, dry wood.

It is recognizable by its dark amber color accompanied by brown to greenish hues.

Keeps well, it remains liquid for quite a long time (several months), its crystallization is rather coarse and very slow except in cases where there are legumes.
