Churros, a typical Spanish pastry

Ingredients for 4 persons)
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • Powdered sugar
  • salt

  • Preparation 10 min.
  1. Bring the water to boil in a saucepan with a pinch of salt.
  2. As soon as the water boils, remove the pan from the heat and pour in the cup of flour all at once.
  3. Mix well to obtain a smooth paste.
  4. Place the dough in a piping bag.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet.
  6. Cook the 10 cm long churros there.
  7. Sprinkle with sugar and serve hot.
