Churros, a typical Spanish pastry
Ingredients for 4 persons)
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup olive oil
- Powdered sugar
- salt
Difficulty : Easy
- Total time : 15 min.
- Cooking: 5 mins,
- Preparation 10 min.
- Bring the water to boil in a saucepan with a pinch of salt.
- As soon as the water boils, remove the pan from the heat and pour in the cup of flour all at once.
- Mix well to obtain a smooth paste.
- Place the dough in a piping bag.
- Heat oil in a skillet.
- Cook the 10 cm long churros there.
- Sprinkle with sugar and serve hot.
