Cod with potatoes

A very popular Spanish dish, this dish of Cod mixed with potatoes is an essential element in the Iberian culinary culture

Ingredients for 4 persons :

  • Desalted cod 800 gr.
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 4 potatoes
  • 2 teaspoons chopped parsley
  • Olive oil
  • Salt pepper
    1. Cut the cod into pieces and brown it in a stewpot with a little olive oil.
    2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into large cubes. Put them in the pot.
    3. Stir, then pour a large glass of water.
    4. Add the parsley and minced garlic.
    5. Lightly salt and pepper.
    6. Simmer over low heat for half an hour. Serve hot.
